You’re already so devastated from losing someone you love. You shouldn’t have to worry about Probate and all the financial fog that follows after they’ve passed away.
We’ve seen many grieving families feel a sense of overwhelm and stress when their loved one has passed so we want your family to feel calm knowing they have time to heal, and when they’re ready, we can take care of everything for you.
When you or your family member has a Will with us, we keep this stored in our office in a fire-proof safe, so there will be no panic, and no hours spent looking through filing cabinets to locate the Will.
We have all the documents here and will give you a checklist of all the things you need to do so it’s a streamlined process. You already have enough on your plate!
Our goal is to be there for you during this emotional time. Empathy is at the heart of our business and we want to make this as easy as possible for you.
Because we only take on Probate and Administration work for the Wills and documents we’ve drafted ourselves, you can feel secure knowing there will be no challenges in court or family fighting, because we’re already across the documentation.
In her 20 years of law, Bernadette’s documents haven’t been challenged once. But if in the rare chance there is ever contention, we’re ready to fight because we’ve considered everything from the beginning and we’ve got weapons – all the documentation needed to deal with that challenge.
Our Probate and Administration service is suited to you if you’ve been appointed the Executor of a loved one’s Will drafted with us. We’re here to support you through this time, to hold your hand, pour you a warm cup of tea and give you some guidance as we carry out your loved ones wishes.
This is an area of law close to our hearts and by specialising in this field only, we’re able to offer high-quality expert advice and provide the best possible solutions for you and your family. In fact, we haven’t had one of our Wills challenged to date! Our clients are also given a book we’ve published called “My Workbook”. In this is a step-by-step guide on what to do after a loved one’s passing. It also has their wishes ie. funeral wishes, tips on how to raise their children etc. “My Workbook” is a practical resource available to you…written by your loved one.
We’re a small, family-run law firm that shows real empathy, compassion, and care to our clients. We spend a lot of time getting to know you, and guarantee you’ll be working with our senior lawyer, Bernadette, the whole time (not a junior or law grad). We also want you to feel relaxed, so there’ll be no fancy suits and sports cars, no billable hours and no confusing documents. We’re as down-to-earth as it gets, explaining everything to you in plain English so you have all the knowledge you need to make the best decision for you and your family. Below is our 6-step process and it all starts with reaching out for a conversation.
Find out why so many clients prefer us over others!
Not for our clients. We give all of our clients “My Workbook” which gives you a step by step guide on what to do when they pass away. Everything they wish for is in this book; written by them in their handwriting. There is also a section in “My Workbook” which deals with probate and whether probate is required. Probate can be quite tricky and yes, we would be honoured to assist if you with probate if you wish.
Generally no, as most of the work of an Executor is purely administrative in nature and we do not wish your estate to be gobbled up by legal fees. We can discuss the many people in your life who could possibly be Executor.
Your first consultation meeting with Bernadette is FREE, and there’s no pressure or obligation to proceed.
In your FREE meeting, we’ll get to know you and discuss all your options. We can have this discussion at our office, over Zoom or in your living room – you choose.
