We’re an Albany-based law firm specialising in Wills & Estate Planning. Can you go to sleep tonight knowing that if something were to happen to you, your wishes would be respected? If not, it’s time to talk.
Our team has been practising law for more than 40 years in Sydney and Albany, so trust us when we say, “we’ve seen it all”.
Families fighting over money after a loved one has passed, legal bills into the millions, broken families, individuals forced out of their homes, and long-lasting emotional trauma. All because a Will wasn’t put in place from the beginning, a Will was out of date, or wasn’t put together properly.
This is why we established Great Southern Wills. To educate and empower our local community to plan for their future from the beginning so there won’t be any fighting, challenges, or unnecessary stress.
This is an area of law close to our hearts and by specialising in this field only, we’re able to offer high-quality expert advice and provide the best possible solutions for you and your family.
We work with many individuals & families in the Great Southern Region, offering tailored advice to suit your unique situation. Our core clients include young families that want to appoint a Guardian for their children; individuals in their 20s or 30s that have entered the workforce & are receiving superannuation (which means you’re most likely entitled to life insurance), families with adult children; multi-generational farming families; blended families; second-time marriages; & retired individuals & couples. You may have been putting off meeting with a lawyer because you think it’s going to be too expensive, too complex, or something you can just add to the to-do list for ‘later’ when you’re older or when you’ve got time to sort it out. We get that!
For this reason, we offer affordable, upfront & fixed prices so you know the costs before attending your consultation & meeting with a Senior Lawyer from Great Southern Wills.
In your consultation, we’ll get to know you and discuss all your options. We can have this discussion at our office or at your home/office/farm.
We’re all part of the same community, after all. It’s important we look out for each other.
We’re a small, family-run law firm that shows real empathy, compassion, and care to our clients. We spend a lot of time getting to know you and guarantee you’ll be working with one of our Senior Lawyers the whole time (not a junior or law grad). We also want you to feel relaxed, so there’ll be no fancy suits and sports cars, no billable hours and no confusing documents. We’re as down-to-earth as it gets, explaining everything to you in plain English so you have all the knowledge you need to make the best decision for you and your family. Below is our 6-step process and it all starts with reaching out for a conversation.
